The English Laundry brand, brainchild of designer Christopher Wicks, is recognized worldwide for its original designs rooted in English rock and mod culture. English stripes and plaids are the foundation of his designs. The brand expands into creations under the “English Laundry by Scott Weiland” label with fabrics based on original vintage patterns circa 1965-1979 being reproduced for modern-day wear. The brand also features Lennon/McCartney inspired designs and incorporate art by John Lennon along with lyrics from famous Beatles songs. Colours, silhouettes and details are derived from elements of John Lennon’s own wardrobe from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. The underwear collection uses inspirations from the clothing line to create a look that is “elegant, arrogant, and English.”
